Attendees from most countries will be required to obtain a visa to enter the People's Republic of China. There are two types of visas available for attending the NetSciX 2018: 1) business visa (F Visa), which is issued to applicants who intend to go to China for a business visit, meetings, or studying/training for less than six months; 2) tourist visa (L Visa), which is issued to applicants who intend to go to China for visit to families or friends in China or for tourism.
To obtain a visa, you need apply at Chinese Embassy or Consulate in your country or region with your passport and a formal invitation letter and on some circumstances, you are also required to submit the copy of hotel reservation in China, return air ticketing booking copy and more proof materials. Please browse Chinese Embassy or Consulate website in your country or region for more information including document requirements, application forms & methods, visa office hours & locations, etc. (Attendees from many countries can search the visa information by visit the Chinese Visa Application Service Center, and attendees from USA could visit Chinese Embassy in the US.
Once you have paid for the NetSciX2018 conference registration (or the attendees plan to pay in person), we will issue you an official invitation letter to assist you to obtain a visa to China. In this case you should provide the following information by send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Full Name (exactly as in your passport)
- Passport Number
- Date of Birth
- Your Nationality
- The dates you expect to arrive and depart China
